Hospitality Workers Relief Fund

OVER $260,000 IN AID PROVIDED TO DATE!

The Fund started as an emergency response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the resulting widespread industry disruption, leaving many workers without jobs, or with significantly reduced hours. Over $260,000 was provided to more than 720 hospitality workers since April 2020 to help address the unexpected loss of income, and assist with expenses like groceries, gas, utilities and housing.

The fund continues to be dedicated to hospitality workers in our community, with a mission to provide stability and support in times of need. We partner with community organizations that provide critical services, including childcare, whole health and dental care, counseling, utility and rent assistance.

Our current partners are Ballard Center, Bert Nash, Centro Hispano, and Heartland Community Health. Each of these organizations receives HWRF grant funds to directly serve hospitality workers.
